Since you seem to be listing some nice other small homes. Check these out:

http://www.simondale.net/house/index.htm
A genuine hobbit hole, in Wales, England. Some very beautiful shots.

While not a "tiny" home, the Solar Haven is a great example of a do-it-yourself eco-homestead. Every step and decision is carefully thought out and documented, from building a straw-bale home, installing a radiant floor heating system, choosing and installing both solar electric and hot water systems, and dealing with irate neighbors.
