New Blog Look & Feel
I just flipped a switch on a look & feel redesign for TinyHouseDesign.com. The new design is based on a very simple and usable WordPress theme called QuickPress. I really wanted something that was easier to read, a subdued color palette, faster page loads, and easier navigation. So after some code changes to the out-of-the-box QuickPress I ended up with this look & feel you see here. For the curious, below are the before and after screen shots, and don’t worry my next post will be back on topic.

To be honest I liked the old design better. But in the end it’s the content that brings me here, so keep up the good work.
I love it! I am interested in how quickpress sets up icons/pictures for each post on the right bar. I’ll have to look into it as I was looking for something for my blog that is not so header-heavy! Thanks!
