Austin Tiny House – Price Reduced

Louis Burns has reduced the asking price for the tiny house he recently completed from $15,000 to $10,000. The house is built on a 16-foot trailer and weights less than 5000-pounds. It features a sleeping loft, small bathroom, closet, and simple kitchen.

I’d buy it in a heartbeat if I lived there. Here $10k won’t even buy you the trailer. I do plan on being in Canada for the summer and will need something to live in, but moving it from Austin to Canada would be a major pain.

Not supposed to be a pain! That’s why its on wheels, a trailer with hookup, and tiny! I’m in WY, and outside of giving someone else the joy of building, I will probably acquire my first tinyhouse by buying it already built.

Ouch -30%! $5000 is a huge loss of potential income.
It seems even tiny houses can be problematic in today’s real estate market.
